Mohammad Rizwan

Mohammad Rizwan (pronounced [mʊɦəmməd ɾɪzwaːn]; born 1 June 1992) is a Pakistani Pashtun international cricketer who is the current vice-captain of the Pakistan cricket team in T20I cricket and captains Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Multan Sultans. He is a wicket-keeper batsman. Rizwan is the only player to score 2000 runs in a calendar year in T20s. He is a right-handed batter and wicket-keeper and has scored centuries in all three international formats: Tests, One Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals.

He is the vice-captain of the Pakistan cricket team in Test cricket. He was one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 2021. He was also the ICC Men’s T20I Cricketer of the Year 2021.He also led the Multan Sultans to victory in the Pakistan Super League 2021.He is the leading run scorer in T20 Internationals in a calendar year with 1326 runs in 26 innings at an average of 73.66.He played for Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League from 2016 to 2017, for Karachi Kings from 2018 to 2020, and as of 2023 captains Multan Sultans. He captains Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in domestic cricket.

Shaheen Afridi:

Shaheen Shah Afridi (pronounced [ʃaːɦiːɳ ʃaːɦ aːfɾiːdiː]; born 6 April 2000) is a Pakistani Pashtun international cricketer and the former captain of the Pakistan national cricket team in the T20I format. He captains the Lahore Qalandars in the PSL. Under his leadership, Lahore Qalandars won their first PSL title in the 2022 season and again went on to win the 2023 season, becoming the first team in PSL history to successfully defend their title. He is the first Pakistani to win the Garfield Sobers Trophy.

Naseem Shah:

Naseem Abbas Shah (Urdu, Pashto: نسیم عباس شاه; born 15 February 2003) is a Pashtun Pakistani international cricketer. In October 2019, at the age of 16, he was called up to the Pakistan cricket team for their Test series against Australia.

He made his international debut for Pakistan in November 2019 against Australia, becoming the ninth-youngest player to make his debut in Test cricket. In December 2019, in the second Test match against Sri Lanka, he became the second-youngest bowler to take a five-wicket haul in a Test match, and also the youngest pace bowler to do so. In February 2020, in the first Test against Bangladesh, he became the youngest bowler to take a hat-trick in a Test match

Fakhar Zaman: 

Fakhar Zaman (pronounced [fəxər zəmaːɳ]; born 10 April 1990) is a  Pashtun Pakistani international cricketer who plays for the Pakistan national cricket team. He also plays for Lahore Qalandars as an opening batter in the Pakistan Super League. Zaman rose to fame after a success with his century in the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy, where in the final, he was the man of the match with his innings of 114 runs off 106 balls against India. On 20 July 2018, he became the first batsman for Pakistan to score a double century in an One Day International (ODI) match. After two days, he became the fastest batsman to score 1,000 runs in ODIs. In August 2018, he was one of thirty-three players to be awarded a central contract for the 2018–19 season by the Pakistan Cricket Board.

On 4 April 2021, while chasing against South Africa in the second ODI, Zaman scored 193 before being run out by Quinton de Kock. His 193 became the highest individual score while chasing in an ODI surpassing the 185 scored by Shane Watson against Bangladesh. Zaman also knocked out Imran Nazir’s record by hitting 11 sixes against New Zealand on 4 November 2023, making Pakistan victorious.

Iftikhar Ahmad:

Iftikhar Ahmed (Urdu & Pashto: افتخار احمد;[2] born 3 September 1990) is a Pashtun  Pakistani international cricketer. He is in the playing-eleven in the T20 and ODI formats of Pakistan National Cricket Team. In Pakistan Super League, he has previously played for Karachi Kings, Islamabad United, Quetta Gladiators and he will now represent Multan Sultans during HBL PSL Season 9. He made his international debut for the Pakistan cricket team in November 2015.

Haider Ali: 

Haider Ali (Urdu, Punjabi: حیدر علی; born 2 October 2000) is another Pashtun Pakistani cricketer. He made his first-class debut in September 2019.He made his international debut for the Pakistan cricket team on 1 September 2020.

Due to his batting style, his compact defense technique, his off-side play and his pull shots, he has been compared to Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma. He himself considers Sharma to be his role model.

Mohammad Haris:

Mohammad Haris (Urdu, Pashto: محمد حارث) is a Pashtun Pakistani international cricketer.

A part time wicket-keeper who takes Mohammad Yousuf as his batting role model, Haris is known for his power hitting. Since 2022, he has been playing for Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League.

Mohammad Wasim Wazir:

Mohammad Wasim Wazir (pronounced [mʊɦəmməd wəsiːm wəziːr]; born 25 August 2001) is Pashtun Pakistani  international cricketer who plays for the Pakistan national cricket team. He also plays for Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League.

Abbas Afridi:

Abbas Afridi is a Pashtun international player who announced his arrival at the international arena with an impressive three-wicket haul on his T20I debut. On a good batting surface, where most of the bowlers proved to be expensive, Afridi proved to be economical as he dismissed some well known New Zealand batters. Afridi used his variations to perfection and outfoxed the opposition batters on a surface where more than 220 runs were scored in 20 overs. Known to be a wicket-taker, the pacer has an impressive domestic record in the shortest format. He is in his early 20s and with the talent he possesses, Abbas can make it big at the highest level.
